Emerging Designer – Dancing Dolls by Paulinah Eboh-Sampson
Paulinah Eboh Sampson began her design career as a brand that was dedicated to creating dance attire for all genres. However she demonstrated her versatility as a designer and she expanded her design skills with the aim to create clothing that was more accessible to the mainstream market.
Inspiration for her designs are in keeping with the original dance theme and takes inspiration from different types of dolls from pin up dolls, mannequins, wind up ballerinas and barbie dolls. With such inspiration, she is able to create pieces that both reinvent the brand but also in keeping with her roots.
This year, Paulinah will make her second appearance at the Midlands Fashion Designer Awards where she will be showcasing in the emerging designer showcase. Her first appearance at the awards opened up an opportunity as she was scouted by Alexis Knox, fashion stylist and creative director to show at the Clothes Show Live.
