As a designer, Deleisha is particularly interested with how fashion can create characters for people and enhances their personalities. Deleisha refers to a love for shape and structure where small changes in structures can give life to a garment and takes particular inspiration from designers such as Gareth Pugh and Jean Paul Gaultier.

This love for structure is reflected in her first garment where the garment captures the feminine shape of the female form with particular focus on the lines and the upper half of the garment. The second garment embraces the curves on a woman, working with both the material and the body exposed in the upper half. Her third garment plays with asymmetry with the structure added on the shoulder and draping at the waist which creates dramatic appeal.

Deleisha hopes that in 5 years time she will be working in Fashion Company or with a designer but ultimately dreams of creating her very own clothing range.
