MYFDA 2010 Fashion Showcase

After an extremely tough preliminary judging we are pleased to announce that twenty four finalists from a total number of sixty eight entries received from across the region have been selected to go through to the next stage of the Midlands Young Fashion Designer Awards (MYFDA) 2010.

As well as the twenty four lucky finalists showcasing on the catwalk this year, we will also be featuring the collections of six of some of the most exciting emerging fashion and accessories designers from across Birmingham and the Midlands.

The MYFDA annual event provides a platform for up and coming and emerging designers seeking to promote their collection, products and services to fashion professionals, fashion enthusiasts and media representatives and is set to be a firm fixture in the local fashion calendar in Birmingham by bringing undiscovered talent to the forefront.

This year’s event is sponsored by Toni&Guy official hair sponsors for the second year running, 69 Magazine, Motel Rocks Clothing and The Model Bank modelling agency. Supporters include La Senza, Candy Nails, Invazian Magazine and Lighthouse Fashion Photography.

The third annual fashion showcase and awards will be held on Saturday 23^rd October 2010 at the Birmingham Conservatoire.
